Dance contest

A small website for organizing a dance contest.
My first website that I have done full stack.

Project dificulties

  • First website, with little experince in the filed, design and implement full stack
  • No prior knowledge of Javascript (at that time)
  • Database with a lot of relations
  • Learning while under a deadline

    • How I have overcome them

    • I did a lot of research, started studying and implemented bottom-up
    • Made the code a little more complicated but pulled of the functionalities
    • Integrated things little by little, remade the database a few times
    • Didn't give in the pressure, focused on basic features
    • Chose Django as it was well documented with a lot of helpfull tools
